I am a lifestyle photographer and focus on capturing real moments and memories in beautifully composed photographs! All of my sessions, including newborn sessions, are focused on natural moments in guided poses and prompts. I believe that regular photography of you and your loved ones is important and really truly matters. Not just because you need the perfect posed image on your wall or holiday card. that’s important, but that’s not exactly the point. The point is capturing life and love and family as it is today so that you can come back to the magic of these moments year after year!

The first moments of finding out you are pregnant are unlike any other and getting to announce it to family or friends is such an exciting time. I love photographing these secrets and they can be scheduled anytime you're ready! It can be simple and sweet or elaborate!

The Magic In Maternity
Your maternity session is typically best between 28-32 weeks when many women feel like their belly has officially popped but they are still relatively comfortable. There are always exceptions to this so if you'd like to schedule your session earlier or later I'm happy to work with you!
Whether you love being pregnant or can't wait for it to be over, I can tell you that you'll be grateful for documenting this time before baby. There is nothing more magical than a new mama-to-be and you deserve to be celebrated and feel as beautiful as you are! Bring a change of clothes, show the belly off (or don't)! It's your session, let's make it fun!

The Sweetest Firsts
My newborn sessions are litestyle driven and I like to photograph your family with the newest love of your life in posed and natural moments. For just baby images, I like to capture them in cribs and/or bassinets, on changing tables, on a soft blankets on floor or pouts, etc. while focusing on showing how tiny they are in those early days and their beautiful features such as eyes, nose and toes! When scheduling your newborn session I put your due date on my calendar and then wait to hear from you when they officially make their arrival and find a time together 2-4 weeks from their birthdate!

Celebrating with a cake smash is an incredible way to commemorate such a transformative year for both you and your baby! As parents, we change in incredible ways the moment they place that fresh baby in your arms and then it seems every minute your baby is growing and changing.

POSING
I look for genuine connections and telling the story of your love and family as it is today. That means I look for ways to keep you moving, loving and laughing so that every image comes together naturally. I will talk you through absolutely everything so that at no time do you actually feel like you're posing or not sure what to do.
PLANNING
In order to ensure you get the best possible images, I provide clear communication and assistance from styling and extensive prep guides for your session I offer. I also provide additional planning support from choosing locations, the best light of the day and outfit planning support.
EASY-GOING
You can expect me to come organized with a smile on my face and to bring an easy going vibe to your session. I genuinely love being with you while capturing your stories and your love. Nothing excites me more than seeing when you are just in the moment and the light is just right!

DECIDING BETWEEN STUDIO OR IN-HOME
IN-STUDIO
In-studio is a perfect option for a neutral backdrop and furniture with great light & snacks! In studio sessions include a bassinet, posing pillow and a small assortment of gowns/swaddles. You're also welcome to bring items and outfits that are sentimental to you!
IN YOUR HOME
In your home is a great option for feeling comfortable and having access to rooms and items that are sentimental to you. I do not bring props as I prefer to focus on what is natural to and/or sentimental to you and your home but I do have a few available gowns/swaddles for use.
IN-STUDIO OR IN-HOME NEWBORN OPTIONS ARE both great options and come down to what makes you the most comfortable and where the light is the best!
Newborn Closet Offering
Pick a color, any color! Beautiful, textured swaddles, gowns, bows and hats available to you in-studio or in-home. Just ask!

I believe that not only do you deserve beautiful images from your session, you also deserve an amazing photographic experience. One way I provide that is by ensuring you come to your session feeling excited and prepared to ensure you feel super comfortable in front of my camera! For that reason, every session comes with a session planning guide as well as outfit-planning resources!
NO CAP ON IMAGES AVAILABLE FOR DOWNLOAD
I don't put a cap on the number of images available for you to download within your gallery. What is listed is a minimum number of images to expect and I often deliver much more! I do this because I believe that some of the silly or in-between moments are some of the images you will love the most one day in the future and I don't want you to pick and choose between a smiling one and an image for the memory!
GALLERY DELIVERY EXPECTATIONS
I promise a 2 week turnaround of images but the truth is, I typically deliver faster. While I cannot always guarantee a faster delivery (unless you pay for rush) I strive to deliver much faster than my guarantee. The reason I keep my guarantee at 2 weeks is to allow myself grace during peak seasons of photography and life as a mom.
