I am a lifestyle photographer and focus on capturing real moments and memories in beautifully composed photographs! I believe that regular photography of you and your family is important and really truly matters. Not just because you need the perfect posed image on your wall or holiday card. that’s important, but that’s not exactly the point. The point is capturing life and love and family as it is today so that you can come back to the magic of these moments year after year!
For newborn sessions, I offer sessions in your home or in the studio. In your home I do not bring props as I prefer to focus on what is natural and/or sentimental to your home but I do have a few available gowns/swaddles for use. I also offer in-studio sessions with a small assortment of baby gowns/swaddles, a bassinet and a posing pillow and you're welcome to bring in sentimental items or outfits.
My newborn sessions are lifestyle driven and I like to photograph your family with the newest love of your life in posed and natural moments. For just baby images, I like to capture them in cribs/bassinets, on changing tables, on a soft blankets on floor or poufs, etc. while focusing on showing how tiny they are in those early days and their beautiful features such as eyes, nose and toes!
I know first-hand how important these memories are to capture year after year because when I'm not behind the camera I'm chasing my almost four year old son, 1 year old daughter and grumpy old French Bulldog with my husband! I look for genuine connections and telling the story of your family and children as they are today. That means I pose them when they let me and work with them or even chase them around as much as I need to otherwise!
